Pint?
A pint is worth a thousand words.
Daisy and Kyle, two patrons of a run-down pub, weave a tale of murder and misfortune. They sit at different tables yet tell the same story to their respective drinking partners having never met one another. Using the faces around them as character inspiration, Daisy and Kyle wax lyrical as last orders approach. Is there any truth in their words or are they liquored up Keyser Sözes avoiding difficult realities presented to them by their drinking partners?

Duncan Guymer is a Writer/Director from the UK.
Beginning his career making narrative-led music videos, he was soon picked up and represented by Joyrider Films. Here, Duncan would gain great experience working on commercial sets.
His heart belonging to the movies, Duncan would leave the commercial world and now works towards writing and directing his own short films while pursuing the goal of directing his debut feature film, the feature version of his most recent short, Pint?.
I wrote and directed Pint? because I wanted a film that wasn't gritty and real but a film that would centre on the imagination of everyday people. These people can talk but say nothing. The truth of our emotions is sometimes too hard to bring into daylight, so they invent worlds and characters in the hope that they can project their worries onto them and maybe someone will give them the help and support they actually need and crave.
