During the war on Gaza, countless heartbreaking stories emerged, but one struck me deeply—a man who ventured out to find food for his starving family. He returned with a sack, believed to contain flour, but inside were his remains.
This story shattered me. I felt compelled to tell it, not to add to the despair, but to offer a glimmer of hope. In my film, I changed the ending. The man doesn’t return empty-handed; he brings back a symbol of life, however small, to remind us that even in the darkest times, hope can survive.
This film is my tribute to Gaza—to its resilience, its people, and their fight to hold onto life and dreams against all odds.
