Pinki
A four-year-old dog called Pinki is big, energetic and never left his kennel. The shelter is a place where he feels safe, finds understanding and support. He knows it very well, just like the people or volunteers working there. From year to year, Pinkis chances of adoption decrease. There is less and less time to find a responsible home. One day volunteers, worried that Pinki is not being noticed, set up a Facebook page for him and start looking for a permanent carer for the dog. We are observers of everyday life in the shelter, watching Pinki preparing for his future dream home, as he passes the „cat test”, visits the vet and practices going for a walk. On the day when Pinki almost loses his hope, somebody appears and asks for him. Pinki is a touching story about the shelter community and our relations with animals.
