Pink Lobster has established itself as New Brunswick's first and premier LGBTQIA2+ film festival, devoted to celebrating and bringing the stories of LGBTQIA2+ communities in not only Canada, but around the world, to audiences in New Brunswick. Frictive Projects looks forward to marking the Pink Lobster Film Festival as an annual tradition in the capital region of New Brunswick.

The festival features films focusing on LGBTQIA2+ themes from all around the world. The festival also features short films by a variety of local filmmakers.

Films must be created by LGBTQIA2+ identifying artists, or about LGBTQIA2+ themes, plots, characters, etc.
