Pintu Chatterjee is an independent producer of films. He took a strong liking to the novelty of the murder mystery storyline as well as the tight and cohesive script of MUSHROOM, which prompted him to make a debut production of this film. Adept and acknowledged in stage and theater acting in private circles in India and the US, he also made a debut appearance in one of the leading roles of this film written, edited and directed by Samik Roy Choudhury.
