Cinema is now in the hand of independent filmmakers. This is the time for experiments to expand the meaning of the film. In this context a major responsibility is today on the film festivals shoulders. But for this new possibilities some new kind of festival is important who can properly give them a platform, a guidance and create new audience as well. In this scenario I am very hopeful with the PickurFlick Indie Film Festival. The way they have started", it's a clear indication that they are going to take a major role in this new wave of independent filmmaking. I am wishing PickurFlick my good fortune and best wishes.

Attending Pickurflick film festival, you wouldn't think that it is a festival in its first year. The professionalism that i saw throughout from the volunteers to the juries, and the festival director Abishek Sinha who attended majority of the screenings in his own words "because of love for movies" was second to none. Out of 500 movies that got submitted, only 1/5 was picked which included mine coffee at laundromat. That showed the quality of the festival. Also the fact that it has become an IMDB qualifying film festival in its First year speaks volumes about the the potential it has. It's was an honour for me, my team & movie to be part of this festival.

Highly professional team and Director. Simply awesome. About the scenario of short films, people these days say 'Small is the new big'. For this lesser-known, yet well executed 'Pickurflick Indie Film Festival', I think the same quote is equally applicable.

Best wishes for future editions! Keep inspiring.
