Pickle of Life

An old widow Neeta, aged 74, lives with a maid Sakhu. Neeta is hopefully waiting for her son Mukunda to call, who has been long shifted and settled in a foreign country. Disheartened and demotivated Neeta wishes to just die since Mukunda never calls her yet out of motherhood she hopes one day Mukunda will call. Surprisingly, one day she gets a call from her childhood friend, Mandakini. They recollect the nostalgic fun filled childhood memories and a pickle which Mandakini loved and thus complain about not sharing the recipe yet by Neeta. Mandakini plans to visit Neeta soon. Happy and enthusiastic Neeta, prepares the pickle to surprise Mandakini forgetting about her longing for her son.
Will this pickle make these old friends meet? Will Mukunda call her mother?
