Pick One
It’s Danny’s wedding day, and he has a big choice to make. Cue the insanity. Pick One is a chaotic bisexual Italian wedding rom-com... with a porchetta.

PICK ONE is the passionate, hilarious, Italian-inspired romantic wedding comedy of my wet dreams. But beneath the romcom buoyancy, and Italian 60s pop rock inspired score, it’s a caustic, messy love story with a layer of pathos that will affect our audience, and leave them asking questions and debating Danny’s main dilemma.
We live in a world where we have to choose in order to feel secure, and for society to put us in a perfect box, a closet, or as bisexuals say, "a drawer". While the complex conundrum
at the heart of the film is based on my lived experience, everyone can relate to questions of identity, conformity, and the anxiety that comes with figuring out who you are in an
endless sea of choice.
This film is a labour of love, and my chance to dramatize all these challenging questions through the prism of a good old fashioned love story. This is my opportunity to feel seen, to feel less alone, and hopefully do the same for others...
My blissfully chaotic, high-wire (and sometimes high-pitched) comedic drama is a result of a one-day shoot with a crack-team of dream collaborators, from 40+ year on-screen veteran actors, to first time PAs.
I couldn't be more proud of it, and I can't wait to hear live it live, on the big screen, at your festival.
Hope you enjoy,
Julian De Zotti
