Experiencing Interruptions?

Pichi, Jesuit of the people

The documentary reviews the life and legacy of the Jesuit priest "Pichi" Meisegeier, in order to recover his work who replaced Father Carlos Mugica in Villa 31, the well-known figure in the defense of settlements.
The biographical film joined the final results of an extensive journalistic investigation, which with extensive archive material and 16 interviews (conducted in various parts of Argentina and Latin America) reflects his family history, his participation in the movement of priests for the third world, the commitment to the movement of slum activists, their large housing works in some neighborhoods with those displaced by the eradications.
His training to professionals and activists.
His regional alliances, the first linked to the habitat.
His meticulous archive, from where provided documentation against the pro-dictator bishop Bonamín, and his historical and tense relationship with Bergoglio, today Pope Francis.
