over a decade ago, i accidentally interned with a film distributor and ended up working there for a few years. i handled the marketing and publicity of mostly big hollywood productions, but every now and then an independent film would trickle through. the films that moved me never did well in the box office, and the ones that did well rarely moved me. something was off so i left the industry behind and did a circle around the world of arts and culture. i researched, i wrote, i solved problems, i created and helped create. i jumped from one sector to the next, and now here i am, accidentally back in the world of films. except this time, i'm only working on films that move me.
