My name is Philippe Berthelet, I’m a 21 year old filmmaker based in Montreal. I’m interested in writing, directing and producing films that range from fiction to experimental documentary. I got my start in the festival circuit in 2021 at the age of 19 with my first film, LUNA, which I followed up in 2022 with À LA FONTAINE, a short fiction that premiered at Festival Regard. I’m still exploring and shaping my own voice as a filmmaker — but it’s already clear that I gravitate towards topics of memory and nostalgia in my work.
