Philip Vermaas is a published poet (BETTER CIGARETTES & OTHER POEMS, Blue Hour Press - 2013), and was short-listed for the National Arts Festival’s Short Sharp Stories short fiction award in 2017 (TRADE SECRETS, Tattoo Press - 2017). He's worked as a professional copywriter, graphic designer and even been paid for a few photographs. Currently he's working on short films and music. He's travelled a bit, and lived for a few years in England and Scotland. He lives in Johannesburg with his fine-artist partner.
