Phee Houba

"Phee Houba" is a short documentary that showcases the traditional, hand-done process of warping, a key step in weaving, which has been passed down through generations. This analog method, done without the use of tools or machines, is now at risk of disappearing as modern technology offers faster alternatives. The film aims to preserve and document the endangered practice while teaching younger generations how it was once meticulously done by hand, celebrating the artisans who continue to keep this tradition alive despite the challenges posed by modernization.
