Writer Biography - Giselle DaMier

Giselle DaMier's feature-length screenplay, ASPHODEL, won Best in Category at the Oaxaca Film Festival, Best Unproduced Screenplay at the Madrid International Film Festival, was a finalist at the Las Vegas Film and Television Competition, and was an Official Selection at the Mediterranean Film Festival and the Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival. Additionally, her screenplay, HADES AND PERSEPHONE, finished in the top 22% of the Finish Line Screenplay Competition. Giselle has written several award-winning shorts, including ASPHYXIA (2017.) She also worked as a writing assistant for an A-list celebrity, and a story editor for the independent production company, Adjacent Pictures. In addition, Giselle co-wrote a feature film for Rabbit Bandini Productions, produced by James Franco.
