Peyton Michelle Edwards is an actor/writer/director with a passion for storytelling. She trained at UNC, earning a BA in dramatic art as well as Spanish literature and culture. Now based in NYC, she has performed in countless independent film projects, including thriller Goodbye Honey (2020), and indie romance Weekenders (2021), where Peyton starred in her theatrical debut. Peyton made her NY theater debut during the SheNYC festival and continually develops new work for stage and screen as a member of The Play Ground Experiment. Peyton considers her time acting on indie film sets as her film school and is largely self-taught and peer-taught when it comes to writing, directing, and editing. Skateboard is her directorial debut, which she proudly wrote and edited with the help of long time collaborator and producer of Skateboard, Matthew Brennan.
