Perspective
The subject of the video is the side narrative to what is being presented, while the main narrative deals with becoming unaware of where you will end up. From shot to shot each movement is used to switch visual information to transport the viewer into a new perspective.
While this is happening audio feedback is adding to the unsettling yet (attempted) seamless transitions of each scene. The tone that the combination of both visual and audio cues allow for the ending shots to have a resolve as to the understanding of the world the subject is placed in.
The full scope of the project and the reason it is named “Perspective” is because each new viewpoint is actually another person of the same person following them. Basically a monkey see monkey do. Once the actor is fed up with being watched and followed they confront a reality and make it the new center of attention. Now it is their turn to replicate what they have observed.
