Experiencing Interruptions?

Persistence of Time

“Persistence of Time” examines the relationship between time and beauty and how this connection informs human perception of nature. Each landscape offers a concentrated view of the changes and manifestations that occur in nature, often unseen or overlooked by the human eye, on a daily basis. A condensed view of the landscapes of America are explored in this work from sunrise to sunset.

The chosen areas were inspired by the filmmaker’s cross-country road trip from Michigan to California. The film aims to reflect the emotions one has while traveling: the fascination that comes with exploring new areas and the longing to return to what is familiar.
