Sara Johnson is a closeted queer girl whose unable to come to terms with the recent death of her best friend turned secret girlfriend, Lucy Bloom. The two shared their memories together in a journal. Lucy’s mother, Sharon, is overly obsessed with perfection and has trouble accepting her daughter’s sexuality. Now, on the day of the funeral, Sara and Sharon battle coming to terms with who Lucy truly was, as Sara is in desperate search to find the missing journal.
