Director Statement

Perfect Fit is a story about how one can overcome adversity by working together with others. The goal of the film is to tell an upbeat story that can be enjoyed by anyone. The purpose of making the film without dialogue was to prevent a language barrier for the viewer, making it universal. I designed the film’s aesthetics using warm and bright lighting in order to evoke a fun and playful tone. The bricks themselves are rigged in a way that their emotions can be expressed through pantomime actions and sound effects. Overall, Perfect Fit is an energetic and wholesome story to remind us that we don’t always have to be alone when facing our problems.
