Peregrina

"Peregrina" is a video essay that delves into the intersection of cemetery rituals and the struggle of marginalized communities to reclaim their identities. Organized around four elemental themes—Earth, Air, Water, and Fire—the film examines how both ancestral and contemporary practices transform the relationship between life and death into an act of redemption. Through evocative archival footage, personal narratives, and a contemplative voice-over, "Peregrina" reveals how ritual, touch, and symbolic exchanges bridge the gap between the pain of oblivion and the hope for renewal.
