Director Biography - Megan Hayes

Megan Hayes, from Georgia, is an award-winning writer, storyteller and actor. She graduated with honors in Acting from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she also began writing and performing her own work. After graduating, Hayes founded Southern Belle Productions in New York, where she produced and wrote several one-act and full-length plays. Opelika, her flagship production, enjoyed two sold out runs in New York.
An avid storyteller, Megan has appeared on such shows as the Risk! Podcast, Tales From Tinselown: Airing Hollywood’s Dirty Laundry, Eat Your Words, The Moth Slams, Hatedate, Radio Picture Show, and she is a Write Club LA winner.
