Appearing in the Oscar-nominated film Gone Girl, and nominated for a Maverick Movie Award for best-supporting actress for her role in the feature film Badsville, directed by April Mullen, Kate currently plays prosecutor Jamie Glenway in the fourth season of the CBS series In the Dark. Kate is also an award-winning filmmaker as well as an international vocalist and recording artist. She is the frontwoman for the LA-based bands, The Martini Kings and Pop Nouveau Jazz. Their music clients collectively include The Academy Awards, The Emmy Awards, HBO, Warner Bros, The Getty Center, Universal, and Disney. She has also sung with Robby Krieger of The Doors and Jeff Goldblum and his Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.

Kate has spent over a decade researching, interviewing and writing about the women pilots who served in WWII. Her first narrative short film, Boundless, about the Women Airforce Service Pilots, has been screened all over the world and has picked up 13 awards so far. The short includes 60 background performers, 40 crew members, 11 cast members and flying warplanes.

In 2021, Kate directed and produced two segments of the feature film documentary, Operation Lights Out, about the Canadian Relief Flights during the Nigerian Civil War in the late 1960s. She directed the reenactment night-flying scenes in a 1960s Super Constellation aircraft, and the creator’s on-camera narration.

Kate is attached to direct the feature psychological thriller, Satisfaction, and the dramatic feature, Green Mountain State, written by Tanneer Moody which was in the final round of the Sundance Writers Labs in 2022.

The short film, People Watching, which Kate directed and acted in last Fall, will begin its festival tour in Spring, 2023.
Kate is also a student pilot member of the Ninety-Nines Women’s Flying Organization, a global organization of women pilots founded initially by Amelia Earhart in 1929.
