Director Biography - Jade Ananda

Jade Ananda, a Director and Musician originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, now calls Los Angeles his home. His journey in the world of creative expression began through music, and over time, he has had the privilege of working on numerous music videos and shorts for various artists.

Inspired by the cinematic brilliance of directors like Sofia Coppola and Gaspar Noé, Jade has been drawn to storytelling that embraces heavy emotions and stylized aesthetics. Through his work, he aims to capture the essence of these influences.

"Penelope's Key" marks Jade's debut short film, a project close to his heart, showcasing his transition from music to visual storytelling. His artistic journey is a testament to his passion for creative expression and his ongoing exploration of the world of filmmaking.
