Peliplat Writing Challenge

1. Organizer

Peliplat (hereinafter, the "Organizer") organizes this promotion named "Fresh Film Focus" (hereinafter, the "Promotion").

2. Participants

All natural persons over the age of 18 who meet the conditions set forth in these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter, the "Participant" or "Participants") may participate in the Promotion.

3. Duration

The Promotion shall be valid from 05/01/2025 until 05/31/2025 inclusive.

4. Participation Mechanics

4.1. Participants must access www.peliplat.com to write and publish original articles, stories or fanfics (hereinafter, the "Text" or "Texts") related to the theme of the Promotion "Fresh Film Focus". Access to the website is free of charge.

4.2. Articles must contain a minimum of 500 words and may be in any format chosen by the Participants: reviews, analyses, lists of favorite titles, or any other written format deemed appropriate.

4.3. Articles must be original and unpublished, and must not have been awarded in any other contests or previously published in any other media.

4.4. Articles shall be available to receive votes through the "Like" option by other users of the website.

4.5. Articles must be original and written by the Participants, any text created by artificial intelligence or similar shall be disqualified. Only 1 (one) Article per Participant may be in the Top 10 of each challenge.

4.6. The Articles must be written in the language in which the Promotion is conducted. Any Article written in any language other than the indicated shall be disqualified and removed from the Writing Challenge.

4.7. The Organizer may limit or prohibit the participation of any Participant in the Promotion if there is suspicion of fraud or alteration of the participation mechanics or bad faith by the Participant. Some examples would include the use of email addresses not created by their supposed owners, or through the direct or indirect use, launch, or facilitation of automated systems, including but not limited to "bots", "spiders", and/or "offline readers", vote manipulation, use of artificial intelligence, plagiarism, etc. This shall conclude in the removal of the corresponding Article from both the Promotion and the www.peliplat.com platform.

5. Selection of the Winners

5.1. The 10 (ten) Articles with the highest number of "Likes" by the end of the Promotion validity period shall be considered winners. The Promotion does not leave anything to chance. "Likes" shall be awarded by other users registered on www.peliplat.com. Additionally, the Organizer may appoint a jury that, at its sole discretion, may award 10 likes to those Articles deemed outstanding.

5.2. In the event of a tie for any position, the Organizer reserves the right to select the winner based on the quality and originality of the content.

5.3. The announcement of the winners shall be made through our Instagram account @peliplat within the 15 days following the end of the Promotion. Once the Organizer determines the Participants entitled to the prizes, such Participants may not transfer the prize to any third party. To receive the prize, they must have fulfilled all the participation requirements of the Promotion.

5.4. The winning Participants must contact the Organizer within 15 days following the announcement, at which time they must provide their personal details (full name, ID number, date of birth, phone number, email address, and any other necessary information for prize delivery).

5.5. Failure to claim the prize in the manner and within the deadlines established above, to verify identity, or to comply with any of the requirements set forth in these Terms and Conditions shall result in the potential winner automatically forfeiting the right to the prize, which shall be considered unawarded. If not awarded, the Organizer shall keep the prize.

6. Prizes

6.1. The winners shall receive the following monetary prizes based on their position within the Top 10 Articles and the special selection prize awarded by the jury:

1st place: 300 USD (three hundred US dollars)
2nd place: 200 USD (two hundred US dollars) each
3th, 4th and 5th place: 100 USD (one hundred US dollars) each
6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th place: 50 USD (fifty US dollars) each

6.2. The prize cannot be exchanged for other goods or services unless determined by the Organizer.

6.3. The Organizer reserves the right to modify the prize amounts at any time, duly notifying the Participants.
6.4. The winners will receive their prize in USDT (Tether) through the Polygon network. This payment method will apply to all winners, regardless of their country of residence. In order to receive their prize, winners must provide the information specified below within 5 business days after being announced as winners:
Polygon Account Address: They must send the Polygon wallet address where they wish to receive the prize. This address must be specific to USDT.
Identity Confirmation: A brief identity verification may be requested to ensure the authenticity of the participant.
Failure to submit this information within the specified time frame will result in the disqualification of the winners. In addition, it will release the Organizer from any responsibility for not delivering the prize.
6.5. Delivery Time: The prize will be sent to the provided wallet address within a maximum of 15 business days once the information is verified.
Responsibility: We are not responsible for any errors in the provided wallet address. It is essential that winners review and confirm that the address is correct before submitting it to the Organizer.
6.6. The winners shall be responsible for any costs, expenses, or fees related to the transfer or deposit of the prize to the winning Participants.

6.7. Any tax, fee, levy, charge, withholding, or similar (current or future) that must be paid or arises on or in relation to the prizes shall be the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Participants agree that monetary prizes may be subject to tax withholdings and, as such, shall be responsible for them, holding the Organizer harmless.

7. Copyright and Use of Image

7.1. Participants warrant that they are the original authors of the published Articles and that they do not infringe any copyright. Participants shall hold the Organizer harmless from any claims, demands, or legal actions that may be brought by a third party concerning the content of the Articles. This indemnification includes any costs, expenses, or fines that the Organizer may incur due to such claims.

7.2. Participants grant the Organizer an exclusive, irrevocable, and perpetual right to exploit the Articles, including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, public communication, modification, and any other intellectual property rights. This waiver of rights covers all known and unknown media and formats, including but not limited to print, digital, audiovisual, electronic, and any other broadcasting media. The rights waiver established in this clause shall be valid for the maximum term permitted by applicable law, including all extensions and renewals that may apply. This rights waiver is valid and effective worldwide, without limitation. Participants acknowledge and agree that the Organizer shall have the right to use, modify, adapt, and exploit the Articles in any way deemed appropriate, without the need for further authorization from the Participants. Participants agree not to exercise or attempt to exercise any rights (including moral rights) in a way that would prevent or restrict the exploitation of the proprietary rights granted to the Organizer.

7.3. Notwithstanding the rights transfer established in clause 7.2., Participants grant the Organizer an exclusive, irrevocable, and perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, sublicense, and exploit the Articles in any manner deemed appropriate, in any media and format, known or unknown, without any limitation of time or place.

7.4. Participants agree that their name, image, and Articles may be used by the Organizer for advertising and promotional purposes without any right to compensation.

8. Liability

8.1. The Organizer shall not be liable for any technical failures or problems of any kind that may occur during the participation in the Promotion.

8.2. The Organizer shall not be liable for any damage or harm that Participants or third parties may suffer in connection with, or as a result of their participation in the Promotion.

9. Personal Information

The Organizer is committed to protecting the Participants' personal information. The personal information collected shall be used exclusively for the management of the Promotion and shall not be shared with third parties without prior consent from the Participants. If it is necessary to collect Participants' bank details for the delivery of monetary prizes, such data shall be requested with the explicit and informed consent of the Participants and shall be used solely for that purpose. The Organizer shall implement appropriate security measures to protect Participants' bank details against unauthorized access, alterations, loss, or unauthorized processing. Participants have the right to access, rectify, and request the deletion of their personal data at any time.

10. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Participation in the Promotion implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, as well as any decisions made by the Organizer regarding any matter not expressly covered herein.

11. Modification of Terms and Conditions

The Organizer reserves the right to modify, expand, and/or clarify these Terms and Conditions at any time, including the suspension or cancellation of the Promotion, by duly notifying the Participants.
