Jovan is a film student of the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Film Programme, reading for a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production with a Minor in Linguistics. His experimental short, Plant Speech, was selected in the 40th Filmschoolfest. He has a deep appreciation for authenticity and values film as an art form.
This short doc is a brief moment spent with a man who has lived for a long time tending to his garden in the village of Paramin, Trinidad. The days I accompanied him on his daily routine are reflected in these 23 minutes.
