Clinnie Brinson is an independent filmmaker who specializes in creating animated shorts. His first film "Peat and Patty" (2022), was created during his graduate school career at the University of Central Florida. Clinnie has also worked as Lead Animator on shorts like "Yours, Mime, and Ours" (2016) and "A New Light" (2021).

Director Statement

I worked hard on Peat and Patty's message by combining personified animals, dramatic news prompts and a fragile environment susceptible to devastation. The film is meant to evoke empathy from viewers with its environment depending on the success of a single science experiment. Yet I bring all these elements come together to give you a comical experience. But, more importantly, the film drives you to analyze your own environmental condition and think 'what can I do to help?'
