Geez, what can I say about me?! I've never really been good at talking about myself, so I may just ramble a bit.
I'm originally from Atlanta, GA and moved out to Colorado at the end of 2020 when everything was on fire (massive wildfires in the state) and a virus had everything shut down. By some strange luck, I met up with the team at Devil Red Films and we just hit it off. Next thing I knew, I was directing my first short film with them!
I had been working the corporate world for over 10 years as a graphic designer and doing video editing projects on the side. I've worked on explainer videos and Client Stories (think mini-documentaries) as well as some music videos, but nothing could really prepare me for the challenge of film making. It's super stressful but soooo rewarding.
I truly enjoy every aspect of the process - from finding holes in the script in pre-production, to the final edit. But - I really feel at home behind the camera and creating images to bring the story to life.
Hello! Thanks for checking out "Pay Attention". This is my directorial debut and a lot of hard work went into this. I couldn't have had a better cast and crew to work with on my first short film!
