Pavura

In a desolate forest, two masked children laboriously transport an unconscious body. The younger boy, hampered by a wounded leg, struggles to advance. Faced with a cruel destiny, his companion contemplates the grim necessity of ending his life to fulfill their tragic journey.

Director Biography - Mayky Alvarado

Mayky Alvarado was born in the city of Loja on May 29, 1994. Graduated from the UDLA film school. Her short film Carlota was selected as the university jewel by the Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Creation of Ecuador, which has won international awards and has been selected in more than 20 festivals worldwide. Similarly, it was selected at the 36th VGIK International Student Festival (Russia). He was the winner of the FACIUNI, conducted by DirecTV. Likewise, his short film Entrañas was selected by the prestigious CHILEMONOS film festival and has been screened in different countries such as: Greece, the United States, Romania, Costa Rica and Ecuador.
