Paulie Malignaggi at Ring of Hope

Two-time boxing world champion Paulie Malignaggi joined pro boxer Zachary Wohlman (now deceased) to visit the Ring of Hope boxing gym in South Dallas for a sparring match between local clubs. Zachary Wohlman was an Emmy-winning star of "Kid Yamaka" and "Why We Fight," but here we see him as a passionate educator, innovator and organizer empowering students in underserved communities. Zac tragically passed away at age 32 (less than a year after this was filmed), leaving behind his wife Serafina and hundreds of aspiring young boxers. This short doc played during the CBS-DFW broadcast of Ring of Hope's "Night to Fight" sanctioned title boxing match and was re-broadcast a second time.
