Paula Zic is a teen filmmaker with hands-on experience across a range of roles in film production. She started out at the Young Film Academy, where she worked on one of her first short films, No Tears. From there, she co-directed Summer Sky, which was featured at the British & Irish Film Festival in Luxembourg.
In addition to directing, Paula has worked on several other short films as a writer, producer, cameraman, and editor. Her work includes Countdown and Zoo Station: The Story of Christiane F., among others, mainly as part of school projects.
She has also worked as an extra and day player on films like Smrt djevojčice sa žigicama by Goran Kulenović and Run by Uwe Boll, gaining a well-rounded understanding of how films come together from multiple angles.
