Paul - The Final Footsteps in Rome
As a man who boldly preached the gospel of Jesus Christ in multiple cities, Paul was imprisoned several times. Later, he became a martyr and the letters that he wrote while in prison are apart of the New Testament. Jermaine Coles traveled to Rome to explore the final footsteps of Apostle Paul in the Bible, and he visited his apartment, what is thought to be the jail cell, the beheading site, and the burial cemetery of Paul.

Jermaine first gained experience with directing while working as one of the actors in a local television children's series called Avenue C Show. It was there that he co-wrote scripts and was allowed to direct segments for his character called Crazy Caruso. In 2011, Jermaine created his own children's online series called Fun Arts Afterschool, which was comprised of educational sketch comedy segments and lasted five years.
Since then, Jermaine has been the assistant to producer Chapman Roberts with his shows including the Black Stars of the Great White Way, the Chapman Roberts Jazz Festival, and the Gospel According to Broadway at the Black Repertory Theatre of Winston Salem. Jermaine has recently produced and directed multiple travel vlogs on YouTube, and his lastest project includes producing, directing, and starring as the lead in the short film entitled, “New Life.”
I have enjoyed the journey of creating and inspiring others through storytelling on stage and on film. I started off singing in church as a kid, and eventually landed roles in local theatre by adulthood. Print modeling for major companies was next, followed reoccurring roles on a local television series and national commercials.
As a way to “give back,” created an acting after school program and online children’s mini-series called Fun Arts Afterschool. This allowed me to gain the experience and confidence to produce a short film in 2022, entitled “New Life.”
