Director Biography - Dott. Porka's p-proj, Mr. 2B

The Dott. Porka's P-Proj. are three brothers. Each of them is formed independently in some media. Some in the traditional ones, others in the viral and more underground, like the street TV in the late '90s and early 2000, through the rough and primitive forms of street art. In 2002, the brothers decided to leave their identity and create a common project, anonymous to break into the world of the irreverence of the game as opposed to the approval of the spectator. This is how the Dott.Porka's P-Proj is born. They are among the first in Italy to move in the direction of urban interventionism formalizing their manifesto in the technique of street-photo performance that they establish in the first years of work. In their raids they often violate the red zones, impounded or prohibited to the public. This is why the Porka's never show their faces. The collective, without leaving the cartoon and their mural paintings between comics and Sardinian tradition, received numerous awards as photo-street performers, including inclusion in the anthology international Mario Cresci "Future Images" (2009) and participation in the collective "Public Arena" (2013). Bruce Sterling, American writer and one of the founding fathers of cyberpunk, in his blog "Wired" defines enthusiastically work of Porka's "exactly the stuff I meant to skeleton art" (the art of architectural skeletons).
