Wagner Films is an independent production company based in Switzerland and Ireland which specialises in making creative documentaries for national and international audiences.

Wagner Films was founded by Patricia Wagner, an award winning filmmaker with over 35 years of experience working in the film industry.

In 1995 I began my career as a film editor in Switzerland working for the Swiss national broadcaster. I have edited more than 150 TV documentaries and a number of feature-length cinema documentaries for various production companies.

In 2002, I moved to Ireland and began to work as a freelance film director, editor and camerawoman.

In 2023, my passion for travelling around the world telling stories about people from all walks of life inspired me to set up Wagner Films. This has allowed me to introduce more flexibility into my work.
