Path of the Daff
A city faced with unimaginable tragedy rallies around a most unlikely hero.
In the wake of the 2013 bombings, Boston blooms again on Patriot's Day with its newest tradition - the Boston Marathon Daffodils. One man follows one daffodil bulb's adventure from the soil in the Netherlands, across the Atlantic, into a MA greenhouse, and onto the finish line of the Boston Marathon. A zen story of purpose, healing, community, and love, as told by the people who experience it.
There is no road map for living through a traumatic event. It’s different for everyone who experiences it, and at some point, it’s something we all go through. Feeling lost, hopeless, and depressed comes with the territory, as if no other person in the world could understand your pain. This is a timeless story about healing and finding purpose in life when lives are forever altered.
Everything has a journey.

Watch this doc only if you want to feel good about life.
It took everything I've ever earned to bring this to the screen, so I'm elated at the heartfelt response audiences across the country have greeted us with. Also flattered with people assuming incorrectly that we had a crew or a budget, a network or a production company behind us. What we had was volunteers seeing something positive and wanting to be a part of it. We're grateful to the people who stepped up to help us out, for without that we couldn't make this.
So learn something about flowers while falling in love with the characters working their way through ptsd, and leave the screening feeling the way audience members across this nation have - with a smile, some tears, and warm heart seeing that there's still goodness in life.
Thank you for watching!
