Labor is isolating, lonely, and cold. What drew me to this project was the beast at the center of it, the neglected amalgamation of a Slaughterhouse growing in the shadows. I loved writing this and asking myself "how the hell are we going to shoot this" every step of the way.

When the script was finished I immediately sent it off to my brother to see what practical effects would be possible and over the course of three months of back and forth he delivered the puppet you see in the film.

As soon as I saw the puppet walk for the first time it hit me that this film was actually possible and I truly owe this film to it and its wonderful creator my brother.
