This project is about people who are strangers in their own land. I have been living as foreigner in a few lands for over a decade. The anxieties of adaption or assimilation are something that helped me empathize with Giles and Levis.
Another inspiration for this project was the landscape and space of America. This is to me is an American story. The spirituality, terrain and fears of these people helped inform this story.
