Director Statement

The idea of the film germinated from a real incident, wherein an auto drive wasn’t able to find cure for a small injury. This led me to develop the story. We wanted the film to embody a certain raw quality. Similar to the world it tries to portray. The economic class that is continuously degrading and is being stomped upon. I wanted to tell that story. The story of someone who is not a human but a mere statistic in this complex ecosystem that we live in.
A story that could be told outside the complexities of film-making. I wanted to just pick a camera and shoot the whole film in an improvised way. From dialogues and locations to actually taking the shots. We found a way to tell it just as we intended and that was what got me excited enough to make the film.
