Director Biography - Valerio Cappelli

Graduated from CUT (Centro Universitario Teatrale) of Perugia, he obtains the qualification as an Actor with artistic and performative skills.
In parallel to theatrical studies he alongside film making studies in Rome at the Officine Cinema deepening his audiovisual competences and dubbing techniques at the Italia Film studios followed by the likes of Gabriella Polisenanti.
In 2012 he took part in his first film directed by Marta Gervasutti, which earned him the Best Supporting Actor Award assigned by A.P.A.A.C. and numerous short films that led him to win the award as Best Actor in a leading role at the "Visual Film Festival" and "L'arte del cortometraggio" of Monterosso Calabro.
As a director he made several short films, videoclips and commercials for companies and multinationals such as Roland DG Mid Europe and Mad Events Italy, winning some prizes:

• "L'ora della Freccia"
Best Screenplay at Corti Medioevali Premio Massimo Stipa 2013 and finalist at the Bonsai Film Festival 2013.

Award 2015 received from a quality jury chaired by Giorgio Capitani and Lando Buzzanca.
