Director Biography - Jeffrey Wong Kai Ing

Jeffrey Wong Kai Ing is a Malaysian filmmaker based in Kuala Lumpur, currently studying for a degree in Broadcasting at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT). Jeffrey's career began in Malaysian commercial advertising and the drama industry, where he excelled as a Producer and Assistant Director. Transitioning to directing, writing, and editing in his passion project, one of the notable projects will be "Drama Inside Documentary: The Chapter Of Song 录中戏：曲章," which was nominated for and won the Canon Short Film Contest 2023 and the Xiamen University Malaysia 6th Stellar Prize Award.Meanwhile, his other short film, 'Passed Lover 路过 爱人,' has also been selected for the Shanghai International Short Week as an Official Selection.
