Director Biography - Khalil Jakur Walker

Khalil J. Walker is a talented young filmmaker from the Jersey Shore, where his passion for film and storytelling was nurtured from a young age. Growing up in a single-parent household, Khalil developed a strong work ethic, a trait he carried with him into the Marine Corps. His upbringing on the Jersey Shore, combined with the influence of his grandfather—who would break down films analytically—instilled in Khalil a deep love for cinema and a unique perspective on storytelling.

As the creative force behind Univolt LLC, Khalil specializes in Directing, Screenwriting, and Producing. A recent graduate of the School of Visual Arts with a B.F.A. in Film Directing, his award-winning thesis film "Pass Da Mic" is a testament to his ability to craft powerful narratives that explore Black vulnerability and culture. Based in the New York City | Tri-State Area, Khalil continues to push the boundaries of creative expression, bringing his rich background and experiences into every project.
