A great traveler, he spent his youth roaming the deserts and mountains in Yemen, the Sahara and the Himalayas. He has worked in fields as diverse as tourism, scientific research, education and cultural action.
For 30 years,e he created and programmed the Rencontres Cinéma de Manosque, in France, which hosted an international cinema program with documentary and fiction films.
A graduate in ethnology and cinema, he has made documentary films, most of which are inspired by encounters with their characters and shot in the style of direct cinema.
