Parts & Labor, the pilot episode
This short film is the pilot for a series about a father and son (Michael Bowen and Ryan Dorsey) on Harleys crossing the country solving other people's problems without fully resolving their bitter taste for each other. Think a contemporary Route 66 (if anyone remembers that), or maybe a new take on Easy Rider (still too old, huh?). A road series about America, the real America, a place where the rich get richer and the regular people are left to take care of each other, or turn on each other. Greg and Tim, though imperfect humans, are particularly good at helping others search a more perfect union.
Executive Producers of Parts & Labor, the series, are Barry Opper, David W. Chase, Ben Galland and Corey Fischer.

We made Parts & Labor with the intention of using it as proof of concept for a memorable television series. With my partners David Chase, Corey Fischer and Barry Opper, we look forward to pitching a series based on the pilot episode. We invite you to look at the short and be touched as we were by the story, the characters and the beauty of the cinematography by Carmen Cabana. Ask us about the series.
