Director Biography - Federica Cué

Even though Federica was born and raised in the U.S, she always had a love for learning about different cultures including her own Mexican heritage. Her passion for animation has been around just as long. She drew where ever she could and whenever she could even if it meant drawing on the walls of her room. But with two different passions, she couldn't see right away how she could fit both together.
One day, inspiration struck during a class with a professor who was a theological consultant on Dreamwork's "Prince of Egypt". Animation can be a powerful medium to show audiences of all ages the beauty of different cultures. Since then, she has been working on her life long dream to own an animation studio focused on telling diverse tales from various religions and cultures.
Having graduated from Loyola Marymount University as an Animation Major and Theology Minor, "Part of Maya" will be her directorial day view. A short film inspired by her discovery of her family's involvement in the several temple excavations in Mexico.
