Fabrizio Walker is a Costa Rican singer and songwriter who draws upon elements of latinoamerican traditional song, soul, rock, reggae, bolero, calypso and rap.
He is the lead-singer of the band Infibeat, a collective of musicians influenced by jazz, funk and caribbean sounds; and winner of the Costa Rican Composers and Authors Association Award for Best Alternative Fusion Album (2013) and Costa Rican Composers and Authors Association Award for Best Latin Fusion Album (2017).
Infibeat's producer is Elijah Brueggeman, musical producer of the American late-night program “Saturday Night Live".
Fabrizio has travelled around Latin America and Europe with Infibeat and also with his solo career, sharing with artists such as Basia Derlak (Poland), Señor Loop (Panama), Nano Stern (Chile) and Los Aguas Aguas (México)
Sol Pardo is a Costa Rican professional dancer, graduated from the Degree in Dance of the National University in Costa Rica.
She has worked with the interdisciplinary group Metamorfosis (circus, dance, and theater), and she is co-founder of the group Colectivo R3M (winners of the Best Group Award in the National Festival of Dance 2017).
Sol has been able to perform and teach workshops along Central America, Germany, Spain and México. In 2017 she was part of CobosMika Junior Company. Since then she has collaborated with choreographers such as Nadine Gerspacher (Germany), Raúl Martínez (El Salvador) and Jimmy Ortiz (Costa Rica). Nowadays she also works with Laura Morin (France) in Collectif Sola(s).
Fabricio and Sol came together to create a multidisciplinary project in 2019, which they performed in Spain and France. During that time they started exploring with video, side by side with a French camarograph, and a Costa Rican film maker.
In 2020 they built a team with Eloy Mora to create PÁRPADO, a cinematic look of contemporary dance, music, and texts.
We are trying to find different ways to interact and express everything that comes to our minds as a dancer and as a musician.
Video became for us a beautiful environment where sound and movement could actually become one as an image. Being able to explore this behind Eloy's eyes has created for us a new label in our professional worlds.
