Step into a world where cinema and Paris collide in a celebration of storytelling. Paris International Film Week is a curated showcase of groundbreaking films that reflect the spirit and diversity of global cinema. Each year, we gather visionary filmmakers and curious audiences for a week of screenings, discussions, and events that transcend the traditional film festival experience.

Expect more than just films on the big screen. Paris International Film Week brings cinema to life through dynamic Q&A sessions with directors, hands-on workshops, and live performances that bring scenes from the screen into the real world. Our interactive panels cover topics like the future of independent film, the fusion of digital media with traditional storytelling, and the craft of creating powerful narratives. Every event is designed to spark dialogue, foster collaboration, and celebrate the art of filmmaking in all its forms.

The original intention of the Paris International Film Week was to promote cultural exchanges and understanding between countries through the display and exchange of film art. As part of the romantic capital of Paris, the Film Week is committed to bringing the essence of films from all over the world to the French capital, allowing audiences to appreciate the essence of different cultures from all over the world.

In the future, the Paris International Film Week will continue to be committed to innovation and diversity, and continue to expand its influence and appeal. By introducing emerging film and television technologies and expanding cross-border cooperation, the Film Week will continue to promote the frontier exploration of film art and bring more excitement and touching to global audiences.

For the Paris International Film Week, the following rules apply: Films submitted to the festival must adhere to the duration guidelines—short films should not exceed 45 minutes, while feature films must be at least 60 minutes long. All films not in French are required to have English subtitles; submissions without the appropriate subtitles will not be considered. Only original works by the submitting filmmaker are eligible, and the filmmaker must hold all necessary rights, including music and media used within the film.

The festival welcomes all genres and themes, fostering diverse and innovative storytelling. Films must have been completed within the last three years to be eligible for consideration. Films should be submitted in their final, completed form, as the festival does not accept works in progress. If selected, filmmakers must provide their work in a high-quality screening format suitable for cinema exhibition. The selection process involves a review by the festival's programming team, with an emphasis on creativity, originality, and technical execution. Selected filmmakers will be notified and may have their films featured in the festival's promotional materials.

By submitting, filmmakers agree to allow the use of stills, trailers, and excerpts for publicity purposes. The festival cannot assume responsibility for any copyright issues, loss, or damage of the submitted material.
