Director Biography - Noble Banks

I was Six years old, when I walked up to my parents and said "I think I want to be a Movie Director" from that moment on I have done everything in my life to be able to make movies. Movies and Filmmaking has been my biggest passion and has continued to save my life over and over again. Robert Altman once said "Filmmaking is a chance to live many lifetimes." and I hope I live forever.

Director Statement

Paralyzed is nothing sort of passion project for me. Inspired by so many films and stories that I loved growing up, like movies by Alfred Hitchcock, Brian De Palma and even the Twilight zone. Paralyzed is also inspired by my own experiences, both working in a hospital as well as being next to my father as he was in and out the hospital my entire childhood. Being able to twist the knife of suspense in the audience is what I love about thrillers. I think the movie, though a genre film, is about the human ability to overcome any obstacles.

This movie was written and conceived by me but it was my father who helped me narrow down all my ideas to this one. He, Unfortunately never got to see this movie made, but it is lovingly dedicated to him.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Yours in Cinema- Noble Banks
