His films are Official Selections of Academy Award Qualifying Film Festivals including: The Chicago International and Rhode Island International Film Festivals.

The still frames extracted from his films hang at cinematic scale in an array of public and corporate collections including: Ivy Tech, Ontario Systems, FDIC, CleanSlate Technology Group, finvi, Blast Media, Statwax...

His most recently completed work "Panta Rhei (everything is in flux)" is the midway point of a Trilogy, intended to change audience perceptions toward a more effective alignment with outcomes they themselves, as individuals, desire.

Where part one of the Trilogy "The Space Between (stimulus and response)" intends to turn millisecond reactions into several seconds of considered response time after receiving information.

Part two (Panta) picks up with an intention of "viewing life itself as a flow to better place oneself into its current toward a (audience member's individual) destination of choice".

The final installment of the Trilogy is in development and has been announced as "Metanoia (a reflective turning)" with production expected to begin in 2022.

Director Statement

“Light is more exalted and of a nobler, more excellent essence than all material things.”
“On Light” Robert Grosseteste

My moving image works are meditative experiences composed of light. I find light’s speed and purity make it an ideal subject in terms of pure aesthetics; This combined with light being the foundation of all cinematic presentations make it an irresistible subject for me in my motion picture work.

With Panta, I wish to present the radical yet, I believe, self evident concept of life as a flow in a constant state of flux.

This concept is placed against a countervailing force within the Human Psyche Carl Jung describes as:

"We want to have certainties and no doubts - results and no experiments - without even seeing that certainties can arise only through doubt and results only through experiment..." (Stages of Life)

I believe what Jung describes above is a major cause of Human Neurosis which can be relieved by properly aligning such expectations to this philosophy of "Panta Rhei" which is aptly described by Plato as:

"Nothing ever is, everything is becoming"; "All things are in motion like streams"; "All things are passing, and nothing abides"; (Plato, Cratylus)

If we look at life as "a flow in a constant state of flux", these expectations Jung mentions can quickly dissipate.

We can then spend our time much more wisely, placing ourselves into the current of life in the right place at the right time toward a destination of our choosing.
