Pandemic Money
Explore the Bizarre World of Pandemic Money, Another Poverty Caused by the Virus!
When the pandemic broke out in 2020, the world, including the United States and Europe, issued enormous amounts of money at the fastest rate in human history. But it brought with it crippling side effects; soaring asset prices and a greater, ever-increasing gap between the haves and have-nots. The rich are becoming richer. But an increasing number of people on the other end of the scale are not even guaranteed the necessities of life. They are stripped bare of everything they have and forced out onto the streets.
So we ask the question, “Who are these people that Pandemic Money needs to save? How do we fix the world of money that the virus broke down?”
Recalling the lessons of the 2008 global financial crisis, this documentary sharply points out what is genuinely needed for the reconstruction of the post-pandemic world.
