The movie is about anyone who has loved or still loves an addict. As Gayathri fights to save her daughter from the clutches of addiction, she ultimately discovers her own capacity for healing and growth, revealing the indomitable spirit of a single parent facing life's greatest challenges.

I decided not to use any background score, because I prefer to keep the mother’s world devoid of any music.

Coping with a drug addict daughter and trying to bring her back to normal life is like crossing a tumultuous ocean; a next-to-impossible task. The mother in this movie had crossed half the ocean, the uncertain and dangerous second half of the ocean lies ahead of her.

I prefer to end the movie with hope and redemption. I like to believe in the power of the human spirit and its capability of rising from the ashes: by going through the process of handling a drug addict daughter, the mother becomes stronger and capable of facing life head on.
