After hanging up the phone, she recalled her dream of becoming a dancer, but in reality why she was deeply stuck in the quagmire and couldn't extricate herself.

Yorick Wang is a director based in Zhejiang. As a film student currently attending a master's program in moving images at the University of Sydney. He discovered his passion for filmmaking, especially in discovering the relationship between light and shadow in film Art.

PAIN is an experimental dancing piece that allowed me to explore lighting and colour design in films, and during the creative process, he kept experimenting with various styles of filmmaking.

The medium of the short film gives me the space to really fulfil my expectations and inspire the audience to find their true meaning in life.
